Before teaming up, Hemal and Brijesh each ran successful travel agencies. Their mutual love for travel sparked an idea: Why not work together to build something new—something rooted in experience, ethics, and passion? That idea gave rise to Beyond Holidays.
“Travel is what I do, and what I do is travel,” says Hemal Jani, whose three-decade-long journey in the industry has seen him rise from intern to owner of one of New Zealand’s largest retail travel agencies. Known as a travel guru among clients and peers alike, Hemal has explored the world extensively, bringing hands-on knowledge and insight to every client he works with.
“Quality and ethical service has been my motto in whatever I do,” says Brijesh Sethi, whose business acumen turned a one-person travel venture into a multi-million-dollar success story. After a short pause during the pandemic, Brijesh re-entered the industry with renewed enthusiasm—this time alongside a trusted friend—to build something meaningful with Beyond Holidays.
