Bharatiya Mandir started as a dream in 1986 and finished as a reality in June 1993. When the houses sitting at the Mandir site were purchased, there were no funds on hand but with the moral and financial support of the devotees, and assistance from the National Bank of New Zealand, the committee was able to complete purchase of the properties at 252 and 254 Balmoral Road.
Currently, we offers two types of services which are Mandir Services and Library Services. We always welcome volunteers who may provide services
This building is to be used as a Community hall that will cater to the needs of the community at large. Currently in the adjacent hall to this building. Bharatiya Mandir holds a large number of events during the year. Beside, we also provide a range of daily and weekly activities to our devotees and members. Bharatiya Mandir aim to inspire, improve, preserve and promote the overall well-being of current and future generations of the community.
